Leave of Absence Requests

We want all of our Pupils in school for as much time as possible in order to maximise their learning time and opportunities.

We strongly discourage term time breaks and holidays and we ask Parents not to request them unless they are exceptional circumstances. These include:

  • Religious Observance
  • Family Bereavements 
  • Service Personnel prevented from term-time holidays
  • Family crisis/Serious issues meaning family needs to spend time together
  • Certain exams & recognised short-time sporting/cultural activities (evidence needed)

 

If you need to withdraw your child/children from school, please complete one of the forms below and return to the school office.

If there are any issues with your request, we will contact you accordingly. Unauthorised absence in term time could lead to a Penalty Notice being issued (please see the document below).
