We would like you to create a song, rap or poem about your times tables. You may want to create it based around one specific times table (maybe one thta you found hard to learn) or about all the times tables. You want to include the answers to the tables as well as extra words and phrases. You can record yourself completing it, write it down or type it up. We look forward to hearing and seeing them!

Good morning Year 6! We were pleased to hear how many of you enjoyed yesterday's challenge, learning more about the artist Banksy, so watch this space for future research challenges!
Today we would like to challenge you to learn to count to 20 in a different language. You can choose which language you like but we know that you already know French, so we would ask that you pick a different one!
You can find lots of useful videos on You Tube When you have learnt to count to twenty, video yourself and send us an email or tweet us!
Hint - counting as you do something like catching a ball, marching on the spot, doing star jumps or another repetitive activity can help you to remember! Have fun and don't forget to send us the evidence! Team Year 6

To find 25% (half and half again or ÷ 4)
To find 50% (÷ 2)
To find multiple of 10 (eg 30%) ÷ 10 then x 3
To find 1% (÷ 100)
To find 35% ( ÷ 100 to find 1% and then multiply that answer by 35)

Science week challenge
This week we are going to do some science and you have the week to complete this task. First you will need to look through the powerpoint that has been attached below. We would then like you to create an information page all about Vertebrates and Invertebrates. You can complete it as an explanation text, a poster, as a powerpoint, a leaflet or a booklet. This can be hand written or completed on the computer. Remember to use key information and to add colour. You can complete your own research too for more information.
