At Castlechurch the Governors and staff feel that the wearing of school uniform does much to give pupils confidence in themselves, pride in the school and helps to promote a feeling of belonging to the school community. It is both practical and economical and helps prevent needless comparisons in dress. Parents are asked to give their full support to the view that all pupils should wear school uniform.

P.E.
We ask that the children attend school in their PE kit on their PE/Swimming days.
The P.E. Kit:
- Black shorts, black T-shirt (with school logo – optional) and pumps/trainers.
- We aim to teach P.E./Games lessons outside throughout the year. Children will require black jogging bottoms and sweatshirts/outdoor sports jacket to wear during cold spells with an optional school outdoor sports top (avaliable from our uniform supplier)
- On sunny days during the summer, we recommend that children bring a sun hat to protect them whilst playing outside
Trainers
All children will use the All Weather Pitch for which the best footwear is trainers which need to be in school every day for both P.E. and lunchtimes.
